The aim of this project was to improve the quality of morning handover in the paediatric department. Methodology was by use of questionnaires to conduct a survey pre- and post-intervention. The results showed an improvement .

Burnout in paediatric staff across Wales was assessed using the Oldenburg Burnout Inventory and Likert scales. Weekly team wellbeing sessions were initiated and any suggestions for health board improvements were fed back to the management teams.
